Granada, located in southern Spain, is the ideal setting for the EMSOC 2019, an example of cultural diversity, heterogeneous in its richness. Its landscapes climb to the summit of the Iberian Peninsula in Sierra Nevada and down to the Costa Tropical. Its artistic heritage draws from the Nazari legacy with an Alhambra – Unesco’s Heritage of Humanity – which coexists with the Baroque and Renaissance. And its culture goes from tradition to vanguard, from the most rural Alpujarra to the innovation represented by the University of Granada.
A plural, international and young city, hand in hand with its University and its Faculty of Medicine welcomes the eleventh edition of this great project.
